Designer, maker and denim enthusiast
based in the middle of the map.

Here I share various visual exercises,
new works, scrapshots of places and things; evidences of life and living
in St. Louis, U.S.A.

A complicated, romantic thing involving
paper scraps, stringed instruments
and phases of the moon

We work in the dark.
We do what we can.
We give what we have.
Our doubt is our passion.
Our passion is our task.
The rest is the madness of art.

Last October, Jon and I took photos for our brave friends Julie & Adam on their wedding day. Jon shot film (35mm and polaroid/fujifilm) and I shot digital. It was our first time taking photos for something of that magnitude and we had no real idea what we were doing. But! It turned out to be a beautiful day and I was happy with the results. These are some of my favorite from the day. The full set can be viewed here. ...I'd like to make it a point to take more photos of people.

It's been awhile since I've stumbled upon something that made me stop and smile quite like this shoot has. Bon collaborated with Tucson based vintage shop Desert Vintage for their Spring 2015 lookbook photographed by Krysta Jabczenski. Miss Moss is always on point obviously and i agree with her when she said it makes her want to grab all her gal pals and run off into the desert for a stupidly fun weekend...
